2017 Winterball - Winter 2017

To be eligible to play Winterball, players must have participated in the 2017 Spring Season with Foothill Girls Softball League.

Games are played against other teams/leagues affiliated with NorCal (teams travel to Sacramento and surrounding area). All teams will play double headers on Sundays.

Practices will start the beginning of August, and the season begins Labor Day weekend with a seeding tournament and runs through the first or second weekend in November. (The 8u divisions seeding tournament is scheduled for the end of August).

Placement on a team is not guaranteed. Space is limited. If there is more then one team in each division, we reserve the right to draft teams.

If you are interested in playing in the 16u division, please complete the on line registration. There will be a $0 cost at this time. If we have enough players to form a team we will send you an email to pay the $145 registration fee.

If you are interested in coaching or managing a winterball team, please send an email including your experience to Erin Finnell at coachescoordinator@fgsl.org. Also, please register as a volunteer.

If you have any questions, please contact Erin Finnell at coachescoordinator@fgsl.org or
Sheri Jenkins at playeragent@fgsl.org

Congratulations to Abby Borges for being named the Umpire of the Month for May 2017. Abby has stepped up to cover many games during this busy time for the league and has shown tremendous growth as an umpire. To watch Abby is to see an umpire that you KNOW is having fun working the game.  Congrats Abby!
