Coach Information

Coaches play a critical role in our league and we appreciate all you do to help FGSL make the season run smoothly. As volunteers, you are the backbone of our softball league. 

Equipment Required

  • Helmet (USA Softball approved)
  • Glove
  • Bat (USA Softball approved and recommended - not a tball bat)
  • Cleats (recommended)
  • Face Mask (8u and up)

Uniform Requirements

  • League provides a jersey
  • Player buys pants, belt, socks and visor. (This can be coordinated with Team Parent and Coach)

Team Banner, Sponsor, Raffle Basket, and Trophies

  • Each team is required to have a team banner 
  • Each team is required to have a team sponsor
  • Each team is required to have a raffle basket ($150 min) for Opening Ceremonies
  • Medals are provided to 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u+ if they place first in their division. It is recommended to provide end of season medal or trophy.

  • Review the How to Enroll section (Section B) for Insurance and background checks.
  • To sign up for available volunteer shifts, log in to your account and select My Account.
    Example: My Account >> Volunteer Shifts >> Select Member Name >> Available Shifts (Select shift/date/time) >> Enter Request.
  • To sign up as a coach, team parent, manager, log in to your account and select My Account.
    Example: My Account >> Place Order >> Select Member Name (Parent) >> Enrollment Type (Volunteer) >> Offering (Division you will volunteer for) >> Enrollment Selection (Type of Volunteer) >> Add Enrollment >> Proceed to Checkout

Requesting a Refund

  •  Fill out the form to request a refund. We will only be able to offer partial refunds due to already paid expenses.
