Foothill All Star Program
The USA Softball of Sacramento All Star program is designed to create a more competitive environment for players to participate in while still remaining in a recreational league setting and without the expense of playing travel softball.
All Star tryouts happen in April and are announced at Closing Ceremonies. All Star fees for the entire season are approximately $350. This includes tournament entry into selected tournaments, All Star jersey, insurance and field costs.
The All Star season begins immediately after the Spring Recreation Program ends and consists of practice 2 or 3 days a week and minimum of four tournaments during the summer. Players and parents interested in this level of play should know the expectation is that they are required to attend all practices and be available for most if not all of the tournaments.
Player Eligibility:
- Players must be registered with Foothill Girls Softball League for the 2025 spring season to be eligible to try out for, or participate on the All Star program.
- All players must live or attend school within the approved boundaries of Foothill Girls Softball League.
- Any player that participates in the Foothill Select program is not eligible for Foothill All Stars.
- Any player that participates with any other team outside of their recreational league or All Star team during the recreational league season will forfeit their eligibility. This includes open workouts, practices, academy style classes at PS33 and other gyms, and subbing in games or tournaments.
- All players must participate in a tryout for their respective divisions.
