Foothill Fall Ball Program

The Fall Ball program is put on by NorCal Softball and leagues from all around the greater Sacramento area participate. Fall Ball registration opens in June. Practices begin the first week of August and the season runs through end of October (mid November if we have weather cancellations). 

FGSL will have 10u, 12u, and 14-16u teams. Due to limited field space in the fall, roster space is limited and returning Select players, All Star players, pitchers and catchers have priority.

2024 Fall Ball Evaluations, Fees and Schedule:

Evaluations: Monday, July 8 at Buckeye Elementary Field 1, 2, and 3 at 5 p.m. (no second evaluation date scheduled)

Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. at Snack Shack. Division and Field location below:

• 10u - Field 3
• 12u - Field 1
• 14u - Field 2

Evaluations will be ran by the Fall Ball coaches(es) and FGSL Board Members. Players (Both registered and waitlisted) will be placed on teams based on their evaluations and team needs (Pitchers and Catchers). Registration Closes 15 Minutes before evaluation start time. 

Fees: $200 per player
The Fall Ball fee is $200 per player. These fees will cover tournament entry fees, insurance, practice field rental and Fall Ball jersey.

Schedule:
A seeding tournament Labor Day Weekend (last weekend in August for 8U) is hosted to set the schedule for the remaining of the season. Double headers are played on Sundays in the Sacramento area.
The season concludes with the Down and Dirty Tournament at the end of October (Dates are determined by division).
