Umpire Clinic and Training
Regular training is essential for your improvement as an Umpire. The following mandatory and optional training sessions are planned for Foothill Girls Softball.
Mandatory: NorCal Umpire Clinic and Foothill Girls Softball Umpire Meeting
- Sunday, September 8, 2024 | 3 pm
- Buckeye Elementary, Field 1
Note: This clinic is required for all youth umpires to update them for the fall/spring season. If you can't attend this date please email umpireinchief@fgsl.org to make different arrangements.
If you have an umpire mask please bring it.
Mandatory: FGSL Rules Clinic
- Each umpire must attend a USA Softball sanctioned clinic in the Sacramento area.
- It is preferred to attend the NorCal Umpire Clinic as the FGSL specifics will be covered.
All umpires are regularly evaluated by more experienced umpires throughout the season. All FGSL umpires are expected to be open and receptive to constructive feedback.
